About CareerProof

Independent comparisons of entry-level certifications for career changers — cost and outcomes sourced from official providers and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, not guesswork.

What this site is

CareerProof compares entry-level certifications for people changing careers: what each costs, how long it takes, and what job-market data says about the roles it leads to.

Where the facts come from

Costs, exam fees, renewal rules and prerequisites come from the certifying organizations and course providers themselves. Wage and job-outlook figures come from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and we name the occupation we used. Each comparison table has a Verified column showing whether a figure was matched to an official page, and each article shows its last-updated date.

A certification does not guarantee a job or a salary. BLS figures describe an occupation as a whole, not what a certificate holder will earn.

Editorial standards and research methodology

Our career research team analyzes official credentialing bodies, examination guidelines, state board requirements, and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) economic datasets to compile accurate return-on-investment benchmarks.

All curriculum scopes, pass rates, test fees, and wage distributions are verified directly from primary education and labor sources to provide clear, actionable career intelligence.
